It's difficult for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have long been mastered.

The fact it required until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a testament to the bowlers that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

"If you've observed me in the nets, it was a frustrating experience because I feel like I lacked timing whatsoever," stated Healy.

Healy's competitiveness has always been her major advantage - and an irreplaceable characteristic in replacing legendary former captain Meg Lanning.

She was troubled by India's emerging talent Kranti Gaud in recent ODI series, dismissed by the emerging pace bowler in all three matches, but here that only provided Healy's spark.

One run resulted off Gaud's first delivery and from that point the right-hander was in motion.

"The possibility to go out there and lock in a contest with her and merely enjoy the moment that way, somewhat inspired me," said Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 balls - her fastest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 deliveries while she punished short deliveries, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

Once she was removed her side needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - an achievable target now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Pursuing 330 is new territory so I'm happy we have the belief to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, if we do, we are confident we can do it."

Those words will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this championship want to hear.

In recent days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this triumph succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.
